A Taxonomical Repertoire For Post-Anthropocenic Species
Portrayed in a dystopian narrative, MuTok is a series that depicts colorful mutagenic critters, a taxonomical repertoire for post-anthropocenic species with the aim of raising awareness about the fragility of our ecosystem.
The complex, enigmatic imagery and relationship to these friendly/not-friendly creatures present a cute but menacing face to the banal toxicity of mankind on planet Earth. The hypermutations of organic/inorganic matter depicted in these zoomorphic creatures reflect our era’s intractable problems: animal cruelty, superfluous production of goods, environmental degradation, etc.
